Bright Futures is an award-winning charity and the only organisation solely dedicated to supporting young women and girls up to the age of 25 across South Tyneside. They work with those facing some of life’s toughest challenges, including poor mental health, domestic abuse, exploitation, poverty, unemployment and isolation.

Each year, they support over 3,500 young women through trauma-informed support, safe spaces, one-to-one sessions, group programmes and outreach in the community. Their work helps young women rebuild confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing and feel less alone.

Bright Futures is there when it matters most—providing trusted support and opportunities that help young women make safer, more positive choices and build brighter futures.
