Each year, the Master Cutler in Hallamshire chooses a charity to support through the 'Master Cutler's Challenge'. This year, Dame Julie Kenny DBE DL has chosen a charity very close to her heart - Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust.

Story

Vesty is profoundly autistic and has severe learning difficulties. He is non-verbal but he loves swimming. Vesty has been the recipient of lots of fantastic support from a variety of different organisations and every year he likes to do something positive for charity to give something back. This year he and I are swimming for the Master Cutler’s Challenge because the theme is diversity and inclusion. Money raised will support Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust to ensure all people are provided with opportunities to work,  play, engage, participate and enjoy time at Wentworth whatever their abilities, age or ethnicity. Vesty wants to ensure more autistic and disabled people are given the chance to have the best possible life.

Many thanks

Vesty and Sarah (Vesty's Mum)
