Emmi-Lou and I are taking part in Starlight Hike this year - walking under the stars to help make sure more people get the expert care and support they deserve at the end of their life. This is the first time Emmi-Lou will have done this event and she has agreed to go straight in with the 10k in memory of Granddad Kevin, Nana Mary and in support of the care Granddad Alex is now receiving. It’s going to be an emotional walk but we want to raise much needed funds for Manorlands/Sue Ryder.

Sue Ryder believes how we die matters. Their nurses, doctors and bereavement specialists support people through terminal illness, death and grief - but too many still aren’t getting the care they need. That isn’t right, and I want to help change it.

Last year, Sue Ryder delivered more than 655,000 hours of expert care. Every second was made possible by people who chose to get involved.
