Meanwhile, 4.6 million tonnes of quality, edible food – enough for more than 10 billion meals – is wasted every year across the food industry, causing irreparable climate damage. By saving nutritious food destined for landfill and sharing it with people in need, FareShare South West joins the dots between hunger and food waste. Every £1 donated could pay to share food for 4 meals with those who need it.
