Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am cycling 55 miles for the national beareavement charity AtaLoss in The London to Brighton Cycle Ride on the 14th September - as I believe no one should have to walk through a bereavement alone, and everyone should have access to support & resources to help them through the grief process and ensure they regain a sense of well being.
Personally I am living through anticipatory grief after the official diagnosis of Alzheimer's for my mum last November , having seen as a family over a years worth of symptoms. I feel like I'm loosing her little by little & celebrating every memory each day , whilst we have them.
Mum you are my best friend , my strength & you taught me more than I can ever tell you. My favourite time of the week is visiting you in the care home - I always get so excited when I'm on my way! Mum - this is for you!
