Several members of my family and many friends have been affected by cancer over the years and, once again, someone close to me is battling cancer. (EDIT in April: It is with great sadness that my dearest, beloved Netti has sadly passed - my motivation to do this in her honour could not be greater - we miss you every single day). Raising money is one way for me to feel that I am doing something, no matter how small, to beat this disease. Research is the only ways to help us do this.

I will be trekking through Iceland in winter to raise money for Cancer Research. Those of you who know me well know how much I hate cold and winter!! Still, the hope of seeing Northern Lights along the way would be a big boost! Having not engaged in any charity treks for a few years, I will need to try to regain some fitness which becomes harder as the years pass but my motivation is high.

I am grateful for any support for this charity and please note that 100% of your donations go directly to Cancer Research as I am completely self-funded. Thank you in advance for all and any help!
