Story
Hi everyone, my name is Sophia, and I'm 7 years old. When I was born, my brother was really poorly with Leukaemia. I always made him laugh when he was feeling sick and sad and gave him lots of cuddles. I used to be confused and upset when my brother didn't have any hair due to the medicine that saved his life. As I grew up, I understood why this was, and so I have always wanted to donate my hair to make a wig and help others. As I'm nearly 8 and my hair is very long, I decided now is the time I want to cut it and donate at least 12 inches. I'm super excited to be doing this and would really love your support in helping me raise some money, too, as it costs a lot of money to make the wigs. I also want my mummy to cut and donate 12 inches of her hair with me, so please donate what you can even if it's a little bit. It all helps. Thank you so much. Lots of love, Sophia xxx
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
