This September, I am taking on the London to Paris cycle (190 miles over 3 days) for Furnishing Futures - a wonderful charity that transforms empty social housing across London into fully furnished homes for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Many survivors are rehoused with nothing – no flooring, no beds, no curtains and no basic furniture. Furnishing Futures steps in to change that. Their team creates safe, healing homes across London using as-new furniture from the interiors industry that would otherwise go to waste.

I’m aiming to raise £2,000, enough to cover the essential items a family needs when starting again.
