I have many family members with heart conditions starting back from my grandad sadly passing from a sudden heart attack when I was young to my Dad still battling heart failure now and in addition my son needing open heart surgery at 8 weeks old after the doctors discovered he had an auto-pulmonary window. Thankfully to the amazing doctors at both Epsom hospital and the evalina hospital he recovered and is growing up to be a very healthy, smart little lad, who is also turning 8 this month on Valentine’s Day. All of this is why I want to raise money to help fund lifesaving research.
