Story
In May, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running 200km to raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research and to honour my incredible husband, Chris (Paddy to most). For the past three years, Chris has shown extraordinary courage and strength as he continues his battle against this awful disease. His resilience, positivity, and determination inspire me every single day, even through the toughest times. By running these 200km, I want to turn my love and admiration for him into real support for the charity that funds groundbreaking research into this devastating disease. Every kilometre I run and every pound raised will help bring us closer to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. If Chris can fight so bravely, the least I can do is run for him and for every family facing the same heartbreaking journey. Please support us if you can – together we can make a real difference. Our two amazing children, Ava and Lucas will be joining me on some of the runs (running and biking) and Chris will join us on the final kilometre, so it really will be a full family effort!
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
