Story
Ramadan this year will start very differently for thousands of families around the world due to worst humanitarian situations that everyone witnessed.
Sarah and Nimla have decided to help relief the suffering of many Sudanese people during this sacred month of Ramadan. We will be completing a difficult hike of the peak district and require your support.
People of Sudan who have been forced to flee their homes and villages due to the ongoing war are facing the worst right now. No source of income, no food and even not a roof on their heads.
Human Appeal in Sudan has been supporting these families with everything they can and this Ramadan we are distributing specially made food parcels among hundreds of families.
Our team in Omdurman has distributed 500 food parcels that include, Onions, Dates, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Lentils and more essential items to help these families spend their Ramadan without worrying.
In total HA will be providing 1200 families in Sudan these food parcels before Ramadan starts so they can fast easily. An aim to ease some of the sufferings of these families HA will keep on supporting those in need around the world.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all"(Ibn Khuzaymah).
