Chris, Tom and Sarah are running the St Michael's Hospice Hereford Half Marathon....again! And first time for Josh!

"Clearly, our first time half marathon last year hasn't taught us anything!

Two years have now passed since our Mum/Mother-in-law, Margaret, died. Still not a day goes by when we don't think about her, or feel the impact of her absence. However, we are still so grateful to St. Michael's Hospice for the incredible, gentle care that was given to her in her last few days, alongside the support and kindness the hospice staff gave us as a family during that time.

There's not many people we'd run a half marathon for (again!), but we reckon Margaret North is one of them!"

The Hospice multi-disciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, social workers, chaplains and counsellors. These specialist Hospice staff work together and often in partnership with the NHS to relieve patients’ symptoms, control their pain and help them to live well until the end of life. It is vital that everyone that needs it has the appropriate care and support they need to cope with the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by a terminal illness.
