Story
Two weeks ago our world stopped when our son Logan Thomas Northend, was born silently sleeping. The past two weeks have been an absolute blur and something that no parent should ever have to experience.
Tomorrow we will try and say our final goodbyes to Logan at his funeral. We have decided to try and raise money in his name to help his memory live on and support one of the amazing charities that helped provide us some comfort during this time.
When Logan was born we were supplied with an Abigail’s cooling cot from the hospital, which helped us spend precious time with Logan and allowed us to create memories with him that we will have forever.
The sad reality is that parents do experience this loss every day and the cooling cots are not yet available at every hospital.
The total cost that Abigail’s ask you to raise to donate a cot is £3000, which includes the Abi Cooling Cot, personalised plaque, cot liners, delivery and parts warranty.
I can’t imagine going through this and not having had the cooling cot and will always be grateful to Allie and her parents, who donated the cot that Logan was in. We want to be able to provide other parents in our position the same comfort and support whilst going through this heartbreak and allow Logan’s name to live on.
Thank you for reading and we appreciate anything you can donate in memory of Logan x
