Scotland 3 Peaks Weekend – Supporting Alzheimer's Society
This September I'm taking on the 3x3 Peaks Challenge – climbing the highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland over three weekends in support of three charities that mean a great deal to me.
This page is dedicated to Alzheimer's Society.
My dad lived with Alzheimer's, so I know first-hand the impact this devastating disease has, not only on the person diagnosed, but on everyone who loves them. Alzheimer's Society provides vital support, advice and research that gives hope to families facing dementia every day.
The Scotland weekend will be the second and toughest part of my challenge, including climbing the three highest peaks in the whole of the UK:
Ben Nevis
Ben Macdui
Braeriach
Reaching the summits will be a huge personal achievement, but knowing that every step is helping families affected by Alzheimer's will make it even more meaningful, and I'll be thinking of my Dad every step of the way.
Thank you for helping me support this amazing charity.
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
