Story

Wales 3 Peaks Weekend – Supporting Stroke Association

Over three weekends this September I'm climbing nine of Britain's highest mountains as part of my 3x3 Peaks Challenge, raising money for three charities that have had a profound impact on people close to me.

This page supports the Stroke Association.

A few years ago my brother-in-law suffered a major stroke. While he survived, he and his family continue to live with the life-changing effects every single day. Recovery doesn't end when someone leaves hospital, and the Stroke Association provides essential support, information and hope for stroke survivors and their loved ones.

The the final weekend in Wales includes climbing:

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

Garnedd Ugain

Carnedd Llewelyn

The mountains will be challenging, but they are nothing compared with the challenges faced by people rebuilding their lives after a stroke. Barry and the Cox Clan, these hikes are for you!

If you're able to make a donation, you'll be helping the Stroke Association continue their incredible work supporting people and families across the UK.

Thank you so much for your support.
