Kennel Break
Campaign by Hope Rescue (RCN 1129629)
An escape room with a purpose... The Challenge: Armed only with your phone and laptop, each participant will need to raise £1,000 to “break free”. Until you reach your target, You’ll remain in the kennel.

Story

I’m taking on Hope Rescue’s Kennel Break Challenge. Yes, you read that right! I’ll be locked inside one of the dog kennels, armed with nothing but a phone, a laptop, and your support. The only way out? Your donations.

Every pound you give will help me get one step closer to freedom.

Here’s how it works:

£250 – I earn myself a treat (good behavior deserves a reward!)

£500 – Halfway there… time for walkies

£750 – Playtime with one of Hope’s amazing resident dogs

£1,000 – I’m free! We did it!

I’m doing this to support the incredible work of Hope Rescue, a charity that’s already cared for over 700 dogs this year. With winter approaching and more dogs needing help, Hope Rescue is preparing for another surge in dogs arriving at their doors.

Your donation will help ensure that no dog is left out in the cold. Every one of them deserves a warm, safe place and a second chance this festive season.

KENNEL BREAK - CONTESTANT 2: SARAH PASSMORE

Meet our second contestant who'll be locked in our kennels on the 11th of December! Sarah was elected Chair of Trustees/Board for Hope Rescue in 2023 and has over 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing, currently working as a commercial manager within the Steel industry based in South Wales.

🐾Why are you taking part?

I've volunteered to take part in the Hope Rescue kennel break, swapping my freedom for a kennel to raise money for the incredible dogs Hope rescue supports across South Wales. Hope Rescue takes in dogs regardless of their age, breed or medical needs. Many arrive as strays, abandoned or needing urgent care - and Hope gives them safety and a second chance

For a short time, I'll be sitting in a kennel so that dogs who've know real hardship can find comfort, care and eventually a forever home. I'm also hoping to tap into my amazing network of friends and colleagues to see just how much we can raise together. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference

🐾Why donate to free me:

-To rescue me as Hope does for so many, and I previously did for my Hope rescue dog Murray

-Because I'm sure my treat stash will be running low

-Because every donation helps get real dogs closer to their forever home

🐾Why donate to keep me in:

-Because you think I belong in the dog house a bit longer

-Because every extra minute I stay in means more money for the dogs who need Hope the most

No matter which team you're on... Free me vs Keep me in... your donation will directly support the dogs in Hope Rescue's care 🐶
