Story
I’m going to abseil down Guildford cathedral 160ft up on 20 may
I need to raise over £250 for halow
It’s a charity for young people with learning disabilities to help make new friends and go on social activities and help be more independent
In building futures they do travel training work experience and help be more independent and making friends
They do social activities building futures a reason to get up and support living and helps young people with in support living be more independent in there own homes and help cooking cleaning washing and food shopping with support to help be more independent
halow project was started in 2006 by a group of five families who wanted better provision and opportunities for their children, who were coming towards the end of the time at school in a formal setting.
Those families passionately believed, as we all do at halow today, that having a learning disability should not prevent people from accessing opportunities that meet their needs, and enjoying a full life.
Thank you for your donation, bringing opportunities for fun, learning, developing life skills, finding talents, developing independence, making friendships, volunteering or finding a paid job, and making the most of life to people with learning disabilities.
