Reps for a Reason: Supporting OT Research

Sarah Putt is raising money for American Occupational Therapy Foundation Inc
AOTF is the nation's leading non-profit investing in new occupational therapy research and the future OT research workforce. Through our grants, awards, scholarships and events we are advancing the science of occupational therapy to improve the delivery of, and access to, high-quality care.

Story

Occupational therapy is an amazing profession and one that I am so passionate about. I know how much we as OTPs have an impact on our clients and in order for us to continue to do the necessary work we do and stay relevant as a profession, we need strong evidence to support what we do.

That's where the American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) comes in. AOTF is a national charitable, scientific and educational organization serving the needs of occupational therapists, clients and the public by supporting occupational therapy research and increasing public understanding of the important relationship between everyday activities (occupations) and health.

Philanthropic generosity fuels our mission, to advance the science of occupational therapy to enable all people to live meaningful lives, and enables us to fund grants, scholarships and programs that elevate evidence-based practice.

Join me in raising money for this fabulous organization to continue to support our profession. For every dollar donated, I will be doing a burpee- $1 = 1 burpee. Let's see how many I have to do at the end of this. Please share this page with anyone who might be interested in donating to this cause. All proceeds go to AOTF.
