Andrea's story
In Memory of Morgan Dickinson-Lawson 🤍
Some of you know that I tragically lost my beautiful son, Morgan who was only 18 years old, last year. Losing him has been the most devastating experience of my life, and it has changed me forever.
I also want to say how grateful I am to my friends. Your kindness, messages, patience, and support have meant more to me than I can ever properly express. Knowing I haven’t been completely alone through this has helped carry me through some very dark moments.
The Laura Centre, who specialise in child and family bereavement, have supported me through the darkest days and continue to help me survive this unimaginable loss. I honestly don’t know how I would be coping without them.
In Morgan’s memory, I’m going to be taking part in the Cathedral to Castle Run — a 10-mile run from Lichfield to Tamworth on Sunday 19th April 2026 — to raise money for The Laura Centre, so they can continue helping other families facing the heartbreak of losing a child.
I would love it if any friends would like to run with me, walk parts of it, support from the sidelines, or simply hold me in mind on the day. There is absolutely no pressure — your support, in whatever form it comes, already means the world to me.
This is for Morgan.
For love.
And for hope for others walking this painful path.
Thank you for being there for me, and for always holding Morgan in your hearts. Everything I do is, and always will be, for Morgan.
Forever in my heart.🤍
