Story
When longbow put the posters up to do this walk for sheffield childrens hospital. I had no choice but to put my name down. This charity has provided so much help for my own daughter. She is under several soecialist at sheffield childrens hospital and has been a regular visiter all of her life. The work this charity does is amazing and its time for me to do something to finaly give back. I aim to help raise as much sponsors as possible along the way we dont have long to go now until the walk so if you can any donations would be amazing
Following the success of our inaugural Longbow Venues Charity Walk in 2025, we're proud to be lacing up our boots once again to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Every day, Sheffield Children's Hospital provides exceptional care to thousands of children and their families from across the UK and beyond. The charity helps fund so much more than medical treatment. They bring comfort during the hardest moments, creates smiles on difficult days, and transforms the hospital experience through play, laughter and hope. It also invests in groundbreaking research, specialist equipment and child-friendly facilities, helping to ensure every child receives the very best care possible.
Last year, our incredible team walked 30km between our venues. This year, we're taking on an even bigger challenge: a full 42km marathon route, visiting every Longbow Venues site, including our newest venue in Bakewell.
This challenge is about far more than the distance we'll cover. It's about making a real difference to children and families who need it most. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Sheffield Children's Hospital continue its amazing work and provide hope, comfort and life-changing care to those facing incredibly difficult times.
If you're able to support us, we'd be hugely grateful. Together, we can help make a lasting difference for an incredible local charity and the remarkable children and families it supports.
Thank you for your generosity and encouragement, it truly means the world.
