Hello!

I'm trekking across the Sahara for 5 days in aid of the OSCAR Foundation, based in India. The challenge is: 7-8 hour trek a day, through all types of desert terrain (including of course very large sand dunes), very basic sleeping facilities (no washing) and no electricity/comms.

Who said sand in your shoes was painful??!!

I've been involved with OSCAR for many years. It uses football to instil the value of education and empower underprivileged children with life skills to take responsibility for the development within their communities. They have a fabulous moto... NO SCHOOL, NO FOOTBALL. OSCAR have reached out to 15,000 children across India and have changed so many lives as a result.
