I am a member of a team from Hurstpierpoint College Senior Prep School who are walking in support of the Evelina London Children's Charity. Back in June last year, one the pupils in our community was taken seriously ill. He was admitted to the Evelina Children's Hospital where he spent the next five months fighting for his life. It is a battle that he won through his tremendous courage, resilience and the love and support he received from his family and of course the incomparable care of the Evelina. We, as a community, marvel at this individual every day and wanted to do something to show our support for him, his family and the charity they support.
