I'm a Registered Childminder in Barry, South Wales and have been very fortunate to have been donated a LifeVac from The Oliver Steeper Foundation for my setting Poppins Daycare. I would like to be able to at least cover the cost of my Anti choking device and help towards providing more to other settings.

The Charity was set up by Zoe and Lewis after the death of their son Oliver aged 9 months, who sadly died in a nursery at the Jelly Beans Nursery in Ashford in September 2021 after choking on pasta. They have created a legacy for Oliver to prevent other parents from having to live through the nightmare they have endured.

The Oliver Steeper Foundation was created mid 2023 with the aims of providing a life saving medical device called LifeVac into all registered early years childcare settings. As of January 2025, they have distributed over 1000 devices across the United Kingdom.
