Having lost my darling dad to dementia in September 2025, I witnessed first-hand the heartbreaking decline this cruel illness causes. It is a cause that will always be incredibly close to my heart. Working in an advanced dementia nursing home, I also see every day the impact dementia has on so many residents and their loved ones.
