Lifting Louis supports Duchenne UK a charity that has one clear aim to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

I’m abseiling down Anfield Stadium. If you know me, I don’t do heights, planes or anything along those lines but here it goes.

I want to raise money for Lifting Louis/Duchenne UK, a charity I’ve learnt about these last few years and worked with a particular individual who deals with this daily. I don’t think he has realised how much love & laughter he has brought to my working days.. so this is for you Louis (& an Evertonian to Anfield is a brave move as you know) ❤️

DMD is a devastating muscle-wasting disease. It is the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. Diagnosed in childhood, it mainly affects boys. Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK: connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development.
