Story
I’m running the Leicester Half Marathon this October to support Soft Touch Arts as they celebrate their 40th birthday. Four decades of changing young lives in Leicester. Soft Touch works with young people who are facing real challenges, using creativity - music, art, media and more - to help them build confidence, develop life skills, and see a more positive future for themselves. For many, this is the difference between feeling stuck and finding purpose, between being overlooked and being inspired.
This cause really matters because opportunity isn’t evenly distributed and organisations like Soft Touch step in where it’s needed most. They engage hundreds of young people every year, helping them re-engage with education, build resilience, and move towards employment or further opportunities. I run a lot anyway, so this feels like a good chance to put all those miles to good use – and I’ll happily do the training and the race so you don’t have to! If you’re able to support, every donation, big or small, genuinely makes a difference. Thank you.
