Footprints Family Challenge - Push ups

Family Challenge Activity
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to read our Family Challenge page.
We're taking part in the family challenge to celebrate accomplishments, success and achievements.
The goal we have set is to work on push ups throughout August. Mira loves a yoga challenge and her twin sister is her best cheerleader and support. We're working to push up onto both arms keeping that head in the middle. Mira is stronger on her right then her left side. It is a true challenge for her to push up into that position, that we call the 'Seal' position. This will help Mira to transition into different positions and promotes a good straight pattern of movement and posture.
Since coming to Footprints we've found that the consistency of contact with them and other families to be invaluable. Mira started when she was very small in the pre school groups and have moved around in several classes. We are now lucky to be a part of the Footprints Gym Club which is great fun, engaging and hard work.
Mira was the proud winner of a competition held by Footprints and was gifted a visit for her school by paralympian Richard Whitehead MBE.
Footprints are so grateful for every donation received, which helps them to continue supporting children across the East Midlands.
