💜On Sunday 18th October 2026, myself, Deanna, Susan and Eddie will be taking part in the Autumn Memory Walk at Manvers Lake, in memory of our much-loved Grandad and to raise money for the Rotherham hospital and community charity Purple Butterfly rooms.

The charity funded Purple Butterfly Rooms were created to give families time, dignity and peace at the hardest of times.

This is a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts as our Grandad spent his final moments in the Purple Butterfly Room and having experienced this ourselves we understand just how much these rooms mean to families when they need them most. No family should have to face those heartbreaking moments without comfort, care and dignity.

By taking part in this walk, we want to celebrate our Grandad's memory and give something back to the NHS staff and services who cared for him.
