Story
Last November, we said goodbye to my Granny — one of my favourite people and the best role model I could have ever asked for. She was kind, generous to her core, and one of the hardest working people I’ve ever known. But in truth, we lost parts of her long before she died, as dementia took her away from us.
That’s why I’m running the Oxford Half Marathon this year in her memory. This will be my first half marathon in over 20 years and I hope to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK to support vital research into treatments and, one day, a cure for the most common form of dementia. Every donation, no matter how small, helps bring us closer to that future.
If you’re able to support, I would be so grateful. And if not, sharing this page would mean just as much.
