Road Victims Trust support of road victims is provided by a team of highly skilled counselling volunteers and staff. The principles and ethos of the RVT reflect a primary and compelling aspiration to provide personal support to all those affected by the trauma caused by serious road collisions.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few years ago, in October 2022, we tragically lost a very special friend in a hit and run. I first met Kelly many years ago when playing football. She quickly became a great friend but she was not only an amazing friend to everyone who knew her but a devoted sister, auntie, daughter, wife and mother. She was the kindest, most generous and most selfless person you would ever meet with a smile that brightened any room she entered. The family had already suffered devastating loss throughout their lives and so the support of road victims trust has helped them, and others, with compassion, understanding, counselling and much needed support throughout. The Road Victims Trust is a little known charity but does so much for people who never want to need it!

In April 2025, myself and a few of Kelly’s nearest and dearest friends and family will be taking on Brighton Marathon in Kelly’s memory to raise as much as possible for such a worthy cause. I’ve said many times I’d never do another one yet here we are so any spare change would be massively appreciated to get me through the painstaking training I know I will need to undertake.

Thank you in advance for all your support and sorry in advance for the sharing, the photos and the moaning! Xx
