Sixty years ago Mark Smith rode pt 2 pt 4 the first time.

He feels incredibly lucky that in the intervening years he has not needed 2 call upon the IJF for help.

In this time, in addition 2 riding under rules, competing internationally eventing, SJ and Teamchasing, he has coached world class eventing and showjumping proteges.

Now, accepting his good fortune at still being able to ride at his age, he has decided to try and help the Injured Jockeys Fund. Supported by the Oaksey house team and Mick Fitz he is doing a fundraising event by riding in the hunt race at the Old Berks Hunt pt 2 pt on Easter Monday. As always, it will be a great day out for the whole family with the opportunity to donate 2 the fundraiser on the day aswell as on here.
