Story
At the start the summer holidays in 2023, my eldest brother had a health scare in which resulted in him needing a 7 hour aortic dissection procedure. Luckily he pulled through the surgery and we are grateful that he is still alive to this day, thriving with his family.
However after months post-surgery and getting multiple tests, we finally got the results that he has been diagnosed with marfan syndrome, which not many people know of, especially our family.
To help other families get early diagnosis, spread awareness and to also raise money for The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust, I will be doing multiple bake sales to help raise funds for the charity.
