Many of you will know that after moving down to Devon I had a nasty fall and 'shattered' my shoulder which eventually resulted in a reverse replacement shoulder. For several months walking (which has always been a passion of mine) has been uncomfortable and painful but gradually I have managed to increase the distance I walk. Walking 26 miles in one day will be a real challenge at the best of times but even more so now.

Supported by a group of 11 very dear friends - the Lilies, I am undertaking the London Winter Walk in January 2026. We have collectively chosen to raise money for the Flavel Centre Trust in Dartmouth, a community arts centre of which I have recently become a Trustee. The money will specifically go towards funding a new youth choir, Young Dart Voices which will be free for all 10 - 19 year olds.

Please give generously for both the challenge and this very deserving cause.
