Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a charity that means the world to us — and we’re so proud to support them again this Christmas 💞🐶

For the past few years, we've been selling my handmade Christmas cards to raise money for Hearing Dogs and we’re so grateful for your continued support.

Earlier this year, during our 28 Challenge back in February, I made 28 handmade dog plushies and they were so popular that they sold out very quickly!

So this Christmas, I've bought them back... with a festive twist! 50 Christmas dog plushies!

They would make perfect little Christmas gifts or decorations!

Handmade items available:

🎅 Christmas Paw Cards 🐾

• 100 handmade cards (6” x 6”)

• Comes with envelope and each one is in a cellophane bag.

• £3.50 per card

• Postage FREE for card(s)💌

🐾 Christmas Dog Plushies

• 50 available (approx. 30–33cm tall)

• Minimum donation: £5.00 per dog

• Postage contribution: £3.50 - I hope you don't mind helping me out with the cost of the postage. Royal Mail sadly has raised the cost. For £3.50, no matter how many dogs you want, it'll still only cost you £3.50. I'll cover the rest of the postage.

Please note, they are NOT dog toys. Also these bead eyes have safety backing, but please beware if children are playing with it.

Albert have been supervising every stitch while I make these items, and we hope they bring joy to your Christmas.

(or earlier if everything sells out). Albert will be doing the draw so it'll be filmed and share across social media, and the winner will be contacted once drawn.

Hearing dogs are highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, such as the smoke alarm, alarm clocks and even intruder alarms and baby monitors. They also provide lots of love, companionship and emotional support, which is really important as many deaf people can feel lonely and isolated.

There are so many little costs that all add up when training one of these amazing animals to become life-changing companions. The cost to train and support each dog throughout their lifetime is £40,000.

Hearing Dogs receive no central government funding which means that they rely on amazing supporters, sponsorships and fundraising.

I have my hearing dog called Albert, a beautiful golden cocker spaniel. Many of you know how MUCH he means to me. He is absolutely amazing and so clever, and I don't know what I would do without him. He has brought so much love, joy and laughter into my life since we got together in 2015. 10 years ago this month! He has given me so much confidence to achieve things that I wouldn't have done without him. We do a lot of things that I never thought I would do, like traveling to different places, meeting new people and going shopping etc. I'm also a lot more relaxed at home as well as out and about, knowing that Albert will let me know about sounds that I can't hear by him nudging me with his nose, I ask him what is it, he will lead me to whatever the sound come from, apart from the smoke/fire alarm, he’ll lie down flat meaning danger, we need to get out quick! He make me feel so safe as he is always by my side. We always have lots of fun together. He has changed my life totally, and also he has made me a more confident person. And he has made me visible! He’s my ears, my best friend, my companion, my whole world and I love him to bits. It’s all thanks to Hearing Dogs, it is a fantastic charity.

We would love to help Hearing Dogs to train life-changing hearing dogs to change deaf people's lives, just like Albert with me.
