Story

hiii all -

as some of you know i’m running the london marathon next april 2026! and im running for the children’s society, an incredible charity that does everything in its might to protect and safeguard children from harm, abuse and exploitation.

as many of you also know, im very open about being an FGM survivor & my childhood, however, since becoming a teacher, my campaigning for it has taken a massive backseat. running for this charity means that i get to fundraise for the kiddos that grow up feeling silenced, ostracised and fearful in life.

so not only am i running for the little girl that i was but im running for the thousands and thousands of kids who have had to deal with so much in life. kids deserve to be kids, and above alll else - kids deserve to feel safe🤎

i know times are tough but if you can spare a little bit of money then it would be immensely appreciated (donation link is in the bio on my profile). BUUUT, don’t put yourself out - sharing this would be just as impactful.

love ya allll💛💐🌻✨

Across the country, young people are suffering unseen and unheard – struggling with their mental health, living in poverty, and in danger from exploitation and abuse. Things cannot continue as they are.

Which is why I'm running the London Marathon 2026. There is no way I would commit to running ANYTHING, if it wasn't for being so aligned to a great cause.

Right now, thousands of children across the UK are facing unimaginable challenges: exploitation, abuse, poverty, mental health struggles, neglect. The Children’s Society is there fighting for them when no one else will, standing up for the most vulnerable, providing life-changing support, and giving them hope for a brighter future.

This isn’t just about running 26.2 miles. It’s about running for the child who feels invisible. Running for the young person trapped in a cycle of fear. Running to help break down barriers, fight injustice, and offer the safety, care, and opportunity every child deserves.

Your support isn’t just a donation. It provides a sense of hope!! So join me on this super exciting journey!!
