I’m taking part in the 12 books of Christmas to raise money for St. John’s Ambulance.

I have Epilepsy and FND with non epileptic seizures; in July 2023 I had 7 continuous seizures whilst at a public event. St John’s were on the scene within minutes and helped until the ambulance and paramedics arrived. Not only did they provide medical assistance but also reassured my family who were with me at the time that I would be and helped them to remain as calm as they could.

Without St. John’s quick intervention that day my injuries could’ve been a lost worse than damage to my wrist and several cuts and bruises and a few damaged bits of clothing.

I plan on challenging myself even further and reading more than the 12 books, I’m hoping I could possibly read 12 a week 😂 (I am very ambitious)
