Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge, for me anyway...of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Breast Cancer Now is a charity extremely close to our hearts as it is something that has directly affected so many of our friends and families personal lives. My granny who has just been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in the lung. My lovely mother in law, Sam. Zoe, Sharon to name a few and most recently one of my best friends, Meg.
8 years ago one of most stubborn girl I've ever met (she would agree) bulldozed her way into my life. We've shared some really great moments over the years and we've certainly had our fair share of lows. She comforted me on the morning of her wedding as I'd just recieved the news my grandad had passed 3 hours before she said "I do" and on the 4th of April this year she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 34.
Meg is currently undergoing treatment and has taken her diagnosis in her stride so far, remaining positive at every step. I can't take this away from her but I can certainly show my support by putting myself through the trenches in the way of a Half Mara!
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
