Story
Sarah was diagnosed with bowel cancer in June and after an extremely short battle she sadly passed away on the 26th of August at the tender age of 43.
She was such an amazing human being and life will never be the same without her, to say she will be missed is an understatement. She was a loving wife and mother who embraced everyday with a massive smile on her face and never let anything faze her. Her whole working career was dedicated to the NHS, providing care for others in need. It was a job she loved and was born to do!
Ahead of Sarahs funeral on the 19th of September we are raising money for the two charities close to Sarahs heart. Diabetes Uk and St Barnabas Hospice.
Sarah was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 9 and lived with it ever since. Not once letting this hold her back though, she still lived life to the full!
St Barnabas provided palliative care to Sarah during her final days. The level of support they provided her and our family during this difficult time was unprecedented and they continue to provide support to us. Nothing was ever to much trouble for them and the care they provide is incredible!
Thank you for all your donations.
