I'm a medical student at the University of Calgary and want to help patients who are not able to afford treatment and help raise funds to allow patients to receive high quality treatment. I've lived many years in Lahore and have had a first-hand view of the poverty in Pakistan and the inability of many people to afford healthcare. Every single life is precious, and everyone should have equal access to treatment.

On the previous page (https://justgiving.com/fundraising/sarahrashid), we raised $1175 towards the construction of the third SKM Cancer Hospital in Pakistan. With the ongoing global pandemic, Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore became a designated site for COVID-19 testing, and with your support I reached my goal of $2200 for N95 masks to help contain the outbreak and to reduce morbidity and mortality. During the month of Ramadan in 2021-2024, we've raised a total of more than $17000 towards the Zakat Campaign for the battle against cancer. Thank you so much for your support!
