This event is not just a personal marathon for me; it is an opportunity to support the Sunderland Empire Theatre Trust, a charity that plays a vital role in our community by promoting arts and culture.

Sunderland Empire Theatre Trust enables Creative Learning to provide a vehicle through which all members of the public can access, experience and enjoy all that the theatre has to offer.  Their work engages individuals who might otherwise feel theatre is not for them, accommodates and empowers people of all abilities, ages, genders, races and socio-economic backgrounds.  Sunderland Empire Theatre Trust is proactive, dynamic and delivers directly to our local community’s needs, challenges and opportunities.
