I have a lung desease called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis which is a scarring of the lungs. This is normally associated with smokers and alcohol drinkers. I am teetotal never smoked have always been fit strong and active .

The Dr's say it could be Genetic, could be work related or just bad luck.

I am walking a half marathon for my 70th birthday to encourage other people suffering with lung scarring to stay fit as long as possible and won't let this illness define who I am, but will use it to motivate me and hopefully other sufferers.
