Story

Hi, I’m Sasha & this July, I am swimming the English Channel!! This is a personal goal I’ve been training for and thinking about for a long time! It’s a privilege to be able to chase my dreams with the support of so many wonderful people around me and the resources it takes to do something this big.

I am choosing to support the Kentish Town Food bank because of the incredible work they do to tackle food poverty. I met Kalisha & the team at the Lido (where I do a lot of my training) so I know how passionate & hard they work to make a difference in North London.

Every week, Kentish Town Food Bank supports families in Camden and Kentish Town with essential food parcels, care, and dignity during some of the toughest moments in their lives.

They have already supported over 18,000 people in our community, and children aged 5–12 make up the largest group they serve.

Every donation helps them to help others, and will give me something meaningful to think about when things get tough on the swim!
