Story
Hi! My name is Saskia and in August 2026 I am planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in support of Amnesty International.
I am very proud to be supporting Amnesty. It is the world's largest human rights organisation awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for their life-saving work. They work to protect and promote human rights in the UK and around the world, focusing on issues like freedom of expression, women’s rights and protecting refugees.
I’m not going to lie, but signing up for this challenge was a spur of the moment decision. Only after some research I realised what I was getting myself into.
I’ll be climbing the highest mountain in Africa, facing extreme weather and genuinely challenging terrain - and probably altitude sickness. I’ve never done anything like this before, so it will definitely be a step into the unknown.
Every donation will help me achieve my goal and support Amnesty for the amazing work they do.
Thank you for your support!
