On Saturday 27 September 2025 myself and a group of Weatherbys Bank employees are taking on the challenge of abseiling down the largest abseil tower in the world, The National Lift Tower, which is 418 feet high! We are doing this in support of our Charity Partner, Alzheimer's Research UK, during World Alzheimer's Month.

I have chosen to do this, not only because it is a great cause, but also because it is a cause that is close to me and my family. I will be doing this to honour the strong women in the picture - my mother Amba, in the middle, who was diagnosed with Dementia in 2012 and sadly passed away in 2014, and her two sisters, Manjuben (right) and Madhuben (left) who have also been diagnosed with Dementia .
