In 2026, I’ll be joining Team Overgate to take on one of the world’s most incredible adventures – trekking to Machu Picchu. Following ancient Inca trails through the Andes, we’ll pass breathtaking mountain scenery, remote valleys, and historic ruins, all leading to one unforgettable destination.

This trek will be tough. I’ll face long days of hiking, steep climbs, high altitude, and challenging terrain that will test my stamina, resilience, and determination. The final stretch begins before sunrise, as we make our way to the Sun Gate — where, as the light breaks over the mountains, we’ll catch our first glimpse of Machu Picchu. A moment that will make every step worthwhile.

This challenge isn’t just about the adventure. I’m taking it on to raise vital funds for Overgate Hospice, supporting local people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Every donation helps provide expert care, emotional support, and comfort to patients and loved ones.

And as most of you all know what I am like, I would prefer to do something challenging in order to squeeze some money out of you, and as always this is a great cause and wonderful charity that needs our support.
