Story
Pancreatic cancer is brutal. Half of people die within 3 months of diagnosis.
I lost my mum, Gwen Smith, in December 2024 after a courageous battle against this horrible disease - she fought on for nearly 18 months from diagnosis. An absolute true warrior, but it got the better of her in the end.
I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what my mum went through. Therefore, along with a number of my colleagues (Maureen, Isla, Michelle, John, Charlie & Chris - go team Scotland!), we're all running (or walking) 50 miles each in February to raise funds to transform the future of pancreatic cancer.
If you're able to donate to our challenge, you'll be making support available for people now and funding world-leading research to find that breakthrough in new treatments which is so desperately needed.
My mum would be super thankful for any donation at all.
All funds with help, not only research into this horrible disease, but also provide support for the patients and their families.
Thank you so much for your support! 🙏
