Imagine a world where no woman or girl has to suffer simply because of where she was born. A world where no one has to choose between food and sanitary products, where clean water is not a privilege but a right, and where every girl has the opportunity to shape her own future.

That’s the world ActionAid is fighting for.

ActionAid is an international charity working to end violence, fight poverty, and empower women and girls around the world. With your support, they can provide life-saving aid in emergencies—whether it’s an earthquake, drought, or flood. They distribute essential period products to those who would otherwise go without and equip women with skills that help lift them out of poverty for good.

In 2023 alone, ActionAid UK spent over £44 million on charitable activities — helping communities when they needed it most. But there’s still so much more to do.

That’s why, from April to September, I will be pushing myself to complete four triathlons—and possibly even more—to raise money for this incredible cause. It will be challenging, but nothing compared to the daily struggles faced by the women and girls we’re helping.
