The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is farming’s oldest charity working across England and Wales. Our aim is that no-one from the farming community should face adversity alone. We provide tailored advice, access to counselling, practical and financial support, and so much more.

Story

Every day we work with farmers to deliver an essential service: producing food for the nation. We know being a farmer can be isolating and challenging, even after retiring.

RABI’s goal is that no-one from the farming community should face adversity alone.

They say "Our support is tailored to the individual. We offer free counselling, practical and financial support to farming people. Our grant programmes and emergency support help people through a crisis. Our regional support managers provide practical advice and are a friendly face and a listening ear when things are tough."

Saxon's team in Tadcaster believe this is a worthwhile cause and are putting in the miles to support this nationwide charity, sharing the Yorkshire Marathon between 6 of us. From experienced runners to those who have been preparing by completing the couch to 5k, we hope you see fit to support our efforts.
