Celebrating The Life Of Sarah Talbot – Supporting Type 1 Diabetes at King’s

Libby and Tabitha Talbot is raising money for King's College Hospital Charity
In memory of Sarah Walton Talbot
King's Diabetes dept is internationally recognised for its innovation and delivery of diabetes care for people living with Type 1 diabetes. We work as a close multidisciplinary team with doctors, nurses, dietitians, psychologists and administrators.

Story

Sarah was vibrant, funny, and truly unforgettable. She had a laugh that could fill the whole room and a sparkle in her eye that made everyone feel at home. Living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) from such a young age never stopped her from chasing her dreams or living life to the fullest. If anything, it made her stronger, braver, and even more determined.

She was always so proud to be cared for at King’s Hospital. She trusted them completely and often spoke about how grateful she was for the support she received there. Raising money in her memory feels like the right way to give something back — to help King’s continue their amazing work supporting people with T1D, and to make sure others get the help they need to manage it properly and avoid the struggles she faced.

To us, she was the best mummy in the world. Our lives were full of her love, her laughter, and so many memories we’ll treasure forever. Her humour, her kindness, and her love for life shaped who we are, and they will always stay with us.

Instead of flowers, we’d love you to celebrate Sarah in the way she would have wanted — with generosity, a smile, and maybe even a laugh. Every donation, big or small, will go to King’s to help make a difference for people living with T1D.

Thank you for remembering and honouring our incredible mummy with us.

With love,

T & L x
