Sazzy Sisters is raising money for Level Water

Team: Team "Sazzy Sisters" fundraising for Level Water

Shepperton Wild Swim Relay 2026 · 20 June 2026

At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.

Story

The Sazzy Sisters are taking on the Shepperton 24 Hour Wild Swim Relay in support of children’s disability swimming charity.

Led by our fearless team captain Gill Tope, our team of Sazzy ladies will be swimming through the day and night to help raise funds for an incredible cause that gives children with disabilities the opportunity to learn to swim.

Swimming can be life-changing. From physical development to social and emotional confidence, it creates independence, resilience and joy. Level Water works to ensure children with disabilities are given the same opportunity to build a lifelong love of the water through specialist swimming lessons and support for families.

The charity is also driving wider change across swimming, helping create more inclusive opportunities so that every child has the chance to get started in the water and thrive.

Over 24 hours, we’ll be battling cold water, tired legs, very little sleep, and probably some questionable relay handovers — all to help raise funds for this brilliant cause.

Our team:

• Gill Tope (Team Captain)

• Louise Bennett

• Caroline Curley

• Nicky Green

• Katie Green

• Lizzie Irving

• Jude Paterson

• Jenni Paterson

Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards helping more children access specialist swimming support through Level Water’s work across the UK.

If you can support us or simply cheer us on from afar, we would be hugely grateful.

Thank you for backing the Sazzy Sisters — let’s keep swimming.
